Suspect in 2012 Athens murder arrested in Switzerland
A suspect wanted for allegedly murdering a man in Kaisariani, eastern Athens, three years ago has been arrested in Switzerland.
Greek authorities said on Saturday that the process of extraditing the Albanian suspect to Greece had begun.
He is alleged to have shot dead a 30-year-old man on June 2, 2012.
The 30-year-old and his 32-year-old brother had been attempting to stop the suspect and one or two accomplices from stealing their car.
The 32-year-old was shot in the stomach but survived.
The gunman used a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
