Probe launched into power company’s ad expenses
Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) has launched a probe into the advertising budget of Public Power Corporation up until 2014, on the instructions of Minister of State for Combating Corruption Panayiotis Nikoloudis.
The investigation was ordered in the wake of accusations that certain officials and employees at the state-owned firm had issued millions of euros of payment orders for advertising, at times in nonexistent media.
