Athens prostitutes demonstrate yesterday morning in the city center, seeking amendments to Greece’s draconian laws on the functioning of legitimate brothels. Brothels must be at least 200 meters from schools, churches, hospitals, youth clubs and playgrounds. Protests by the Church and others blocked an attempt to soften the law last year.
