Academics get Wi-Fi access on the Acropolis

Academics and students visiting the Acropolis can now benefit from Wi-Fi following the extension of eduroam (education roaming), an access service developed for the international research and education community.

The service is available to all students, researchers and professors following an initiative by the Greek Research and Technology Network, which operates under the Education Ministry, and the Acropolis Restoration Service, which comes under the umbrella of the Culture Ministry.

Visitors can simply use their university access details or “credentials” to get Wi-Fi on the Acropolis.
