Six Turkish jets chased out of Greek air space

Six Turkish fighter jets violated Greek air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean on Wednesday, according to Greek military officials.

The National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said the jets, two of which were armed, carried out a total of 23 violations of Greek air space, adding that three dogfights occurred.

Hellenic Air Force planes were scrambled to chase off the Turkish jets.
