Woman found unconscious on university grounds
A 40-year-old woman who was found beaten and unconscious on the grounds of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki on Thursday was transferred to a local hospital where she was said to be in a critical condition.
Police dispatched to the scene found a bag with personal documents and containing 126 pills.
It remained unclear what the pills were, whether they had been legally prescribed and whether the woman had consumed an excessive dose.
Authorities at Aristotle University have struggled to cope with crime and violence on the grounds of the institution.
