Bulldozers got to work…
Bulldozers got to work on Syntagma Square yesterday, for the third makeover of Athens’s central square in a decade. The redesign is expected to result in the planting of more trees, while parts of the streets surrounding the square will become pedestrian walkways. Othonos Street, which has been closed for years, will be opened to taxis and buses.
