Man arrested for creating bogus Facebook profile
Officers of the Greek Police’s Cyber Crime Unit on Tuesday arrested a 21-year-old man who is alleged to have created a fake profile of a 19-year-old woman on Facebook on which he posted photographs of her.
The woman was alerted to the fake profile page by relatives and friends who received friend requests. Officers traced the man’s IP address in northern Greece and raided his home, seizing a laptop and memory sticks.
