Anti-fascist rally planned on Friday at Omonia Square
An anti-fascist rally organized by the civil servants’ union, ADEDY, is to start at central Omonia Square at 7 p.m. on Friday, with the organizers calling on Greeks to condemn the neofascist Golden Dawn party, which reinforced its presence in Parliament in last Sunday’s elections.
“We should not allow any leeway for the demagoguery of Golden Dawn, a criminal neo-Nazi organization which is trying to use the crisis to escape from isolation, under the mantle of an ostensibly legitimate political party,” ADEDY said.
