Gas station owners to rally on November 12
The Panhellenic Federation of Fuel Station Owners and Oil Traders (POPEK) on Saturday called on its members to participate in a rally organized by the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen and Merchants (GSEVEE) on Thursday, November 12, to protest tax hikes, social security reforms and the ongoing illegal trade in fuel.
Greek civil servants’ union ADEDY and private sector employees’ union GSEE have called a 24-hour strike on the same day in protest at pension reforms required as part of a third bailout deal between Greece and its creditors.
