Two arrested for child pornography thanks to international cooperation
Cooperation with international authorities led to the arrest of two men suspected of collecting and distributing child pornography, the Greek police said on Friday.
The first suspect, aged 36, was the subject of an international investigation that eventually placed him in Greece. Police here raided his home and found hundreds of images of children as young as 5 engaged in sexual acts with adults and animals.
The second suspect, aged 21, had over 50,000 files of child pornography on his home computer. Greek authorities were alerted to his activities by a nongovernmental organization in the US.
