Three men arrested for throwing pregnant woman in Ioannina lake
Police in Ioannina on Friday arrested three men alleged to have thrown a pregnant woman into the northwestern city's lake.
According to sources, the woman telephoned the police on Thursday afternoon and said that her boyfriend and three of his friends threw her into the lake so that she would miscarry.
The woman, who managed to swim to safety, was in a state of shock at the city's main hospital on Friday.
Police arrested three of the suspects, including the man said to be the girl's boyfriend, and were seeking the fourth.
