Police in Volos nab suspected drug-dealing couple, six others
Police in the eastern town of Volos have arrested a couple suspected of running a heroin racket out of their home that netted them an estimated 700 euros a day, while also claiming social benefits from the state, it was announced on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old woman and 49-year-old man had been under surveillance since October, until police raided their home and found evidence of a large drug-dealing enterprise.
Another six suspects have been arrested in Volos and Athens.
