Tsipras meets Cameron, Merkel in London

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and British premier David Cameron met in London on Thursday, on the sidelines of an international conference aimed at raising funds for Syrian refugees, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency reported.

Earlier on Thursday, Tsipras met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Following talks with Cameron, the Greek PM was scheduled to meet with European Parliament chief Martin Schulz.

According to government sources, at the “Supporting Syria and the Region” conference, Tsipras was expected to call for a longer-term strategy regarding the resettlement of refugees.
