Officer suspended pending inquiry into child pornography charges
A 40-year-old municipal police officer in Athens has been suspended from duty pending an investigation into child pornography charges.
His arrest came after the mother of a 13-year-old girl claimed that her daughter had been posting photographs of herself naked on a social media forum, which police were able to deduce had been viewed on a computer in the officer’s home.
