SYRIZA MP’s home targeted near Trikala
A rudimentary explosive device went off early Friday outside the home of SYRIZA MP Christos Simorelis in the village of Mouria, near Trikala. Nobody was injured in the blast.
“SYRIZA MPs are involved in their local communities and at citizens’ sides,” said the lawmaker in a statement. “We have never hidden and we will not do so, even now.”
The central Athens home of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris has also been targeted with similar devices in recent weeks.
