Truck carrying horses overturns in northwestern Greece
A truck packed with 30 horses overturned on the Egnatia highway after crashing into a cement barrier at a toll station outside Ioannina in northwestern Greece.
According to reports, one horse died when the driver of the truck with Italian license plates – heading for Igoumenitsa port – lost control and rammed into the Drosohori toll station.
The driver was unharmed.
