Up to 2,680 migrants stranded at Piraeus as 27 arrive on Wednesday
A total of 2,680 migrants and refugees are currently stranded on the port of Piraeus, authorities said Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 27 people landed at Piraeus on Wednesday morning on board a ferry from Chios and Lesvos.
Authorities had pledged to evacuate Greece's biggest port ahead of the Easter tourism season.
