Self-styled anarchists stage protest at Labor Ministry branch

A group of self-styled anarchists on Tuesday morning blocked the entrance to a branch of the Labor Ministry in downtown Athens and hung a banner on the front of the building protesting social security reforms.
A text published on an anti-establishment website and signed “Anarchist Assembly on Social and Class Emancipation,” which claims to represent the group, meanwhile, called for protesters to gather in front of the building later in the day.
Police have been dispatched to the location to ensure that there are no incidents of violence or vandalism.
Some reports suggested that about a dozen of the protesters had entered the building, which houses offices and certain Labor Ministry services.
