Police arrest 14 in relation to drug smuggling ring
Police say they have arrested 14 people during a large-scale operation in different parts of Attica aimed at smashing a criminal gang importing and distributing large quantities of drugs.
The operation, which began late Thursday, has uncovered a number of drug processing labs while authorities have confiscated, guns, money, cars and more than 7 kilos of heroin.
The 14 suspects were to appear before a prosecutor on Friday.
