Two missing as migrant boat sinks off Lesvos
Authorities on the Greek island of Lesvos say two people are believed still missing after a plastic boat carrying about 50 migrants and refugees sank southeast of the island earlier Thursday.
Two coast guard and one navy vessel are taking part in the search and rescue operation, authorities said.
According to reports, a total of 54 migrants and refugees have arrived on the Aegean islands of Lesvos and Chios in the past 24 hours.
