Cousin killer extradited to Greece from Albania

The body of a 27-year-old Albanian national, who was reported missing last Friday, was found buried in scrubland in the region of Xino Nero in Karditsa, central Greece on Tuesday, while police arrested his 26-year-old cousin on murder charges.

An investigation revealed that the 26-year-old stabbed the victim after an argument last Wednesday, August 3, and then fled to Albania.

But, with the help of Interpol, Albanian authorities extradited the man to Greece, where he will stand trial for murder.
