Nine arrested in Kypseli brawl
Police in the neighborhood of Kypseli, near the center of Athens, detained nine foreign nationals late on Thursday following a fracas in a central square.
The cause of the altercation was unclear but an argument between two groups of migrants, apparently of different ethnicities, escalated into a full-blown brawl, prompting police to intervene.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
