Teacher gets 13 years behind bars for molesting student
A teacher in the northern town of Serres was sentenced to 13 years in prison by a Thessaloniki appeals court for sexually molesting a teenage student.
The court overruled an earlier court decision in November 2015 that found the 52-year-old man innocent due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
The appeals court said that man had repeatedly molested the girl, who was under the age of 15.
The teacher denied all charges, saying the student made up the entire incident.
