Civil servants to stage rally in central Athens on Monday
Civil servants’ union ADEDY will be staging a rally in central Athens at 2 p.m. on Monday to protest government public sector evaluation plans.
The protest march will be held at the Ministry of Administrative Reform on Vassilissis Sofias Avenue and is expected to cause traffic disruptions.
Civil servants are opposed to the evaluation scheme, which is part of Greece’s bailout agreement with international creditors, over fears that it may lead to dismissals.
