Doctors to enter restricted areas freely
The arrangements for certain categories of professionals (e.g. plumbers, electricians) who need to reach a house or store within a restricted access zone in order to carry out repairs are as yet unknown. It is considered certain that some professionals will receive special access permits. The possibility of having a single telephone number for people to call in order to obtain the specific type of technician they need is also being explored. Naturally, doctors belonging to the medical societies of Athens and Piraeus will be exempt from restrictions on access and movement within the two (CACZ and CPZ) zones. Access and parking permits will be granted to public utility vehicles and additional permits will be secured for some public and private services such as old people’s homes, hotels, medical centers and the like.
