Kifissia’s timber-and-metal artwork
At the terminus of the ISAP line, in the northern greenbelt suburb of Kifissia, the station platforms have already been built and the line has been adapted. Despite several delays, and though work has recently sped up, the station will be a true masterpiece when it is finally finished, as the outdoor atmosphere has been preserved without the addition of any bulky structures. The building materials chosen for the construction (timber and iron) are among the most attractive available and are in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.
