Google Doodle marks European Parliament elections
Google Doodle has marked European Parliament elections by incorporating an illustration of a ballot box and an EU flag into its logo. Polls on Sunday opened at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT) in the east of the bloc and will finally close at 11 p.m. (2100 GMT) in Italy. Seven states have already voted. The new European Parliament is expected to drift slightly to the right.
