Robbers try to smash into cafe, make off with safe
Would-be robbers drove a car through the front of a cafe-restaurant in the district of Kolonos, near central Athens, early on Wednesday.
The assailants tried to remove a safe from the premises but failed, according to police.
The incident took place shortly after 2 a.m. when the establishment was closed and no injuries were reported.
