Fire breaks out in abandoned building in central Athens
A fire broke out on Friday morning in an abandoned building in central Athens, the fire service said.
Media reports said the blaze started on the second floor of the neoclassical building located on 43 Stadiou Street.
Some of the reports claimed that two people have been evacuated.
The fire service said 20 men with eight vehicles were at the scene.
It was not clear what started the blaze.
