Knife, cellphones seized at Amfissa Prison

A search on Monday afternoon in a cell and a communal area of the Amfissa Detention Center, in central Greece, turned up a makeshift knife with a 8.3-centimetre blade, as well as cellphones and bootleg alcohol.

Prison guards six cellphones and seven chargers, 11 hands-free and six little of illicit alcohol.

The prison informed police and a prosecutor about the finds.
