Workers from the Fanco…
Workers from the Fanco textile factory in the northern city of Naoussa, which is scheduled to be closed down with the loss of hundreds of jobs, hold a protest in Athens yesterday. Fanco employees marched to the Ministry of Labor and the head offices of the Lanaras group, which owns Fanco, to demand that the plant remains in operation. Unionists have threatened to take over the factory if the company persists with its closure plans.
