Against the bitter cold…
Puffed up against the bitter cold, a small flock of sparrows sit on a Larissa fence yesterday. Most of the country remained in the grip of a cold spell, with sub-zero temperatures in much of northern Greece. Schools were closed yesterday in the northern prefectures of Pieria, Florina, Grevena, Evros and Rhodope, and in parts of Halkidiki.
