Residents from the village of Logades, near Ioannina in northwestern Greece, stand next to a pile of compacted hail yesterday. They were waiting for experts to assess the damage inflicted by a sudden hailstorm on Thursday night. Logades was one of the villages in the area hit by a snap storm that hit much of northern Greece.
