A Greek military vehicle…

A Greek military vehicle burns following a bomb attack on a convoy of seven Greek vehicles in the Afghan capital of Kabul yesterday that left two Greek soldiers injured. The blast was one of two carried out within 90 minutes of each other by suicide bombers, who drove cars laden with explosives. The other blast killed one German soldier and injured nine others. The two Greek soldiers – part of the NATO-led international peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan – were said to have only minor injuries. A purported spokesman for the Taleban claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the claim was not confirmed.
