Greenpeace activists pile lumps of coal onto solar panels in a symbolic protest outside the offices of the Development Ministry near central Athens yesterday. The environmental protection group is accusing the government of not doing enough to promote the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy sources. The banners from left to right read: ‘Stop climate change,’ ‘Let the sun shine’ and ‘Don’t bury clean energy.’
