Sports Minister Giorgos Orfanos (c) oversees construction work being carried out at the Kaftantzoglio stadium in Thessaloniki. The deputy minister said that he was satisfied with work taking place at the stadium, which will host the 2006 European Cup in athletics on June 17-18. The stadium was used for soccer during the 2004 Olympics.
