The lead singer of Finnish group Lordi is seen behind flags from Finland and Greece at the 51st Eurovision song contest in Athens on Saturday. The Finns were surprise winners as their heavy rock sound and monster costumes were widely considered as too outlandish, even by Eurovision’s standards. It was the first time Finland has won the competition. Greece’s participant, Anna Vissi, came ninth.
