The wreckage of a Cypriot military helicopter which crashed near Paphos yesterday morning, killing a Cypriot pilot and his Russian trainer, lies in a field. The airmen were identified as Flight Lieutenant Andreas Papasozomenos and Group Captain Yuri Oleynik. The Russian-built Mi-35 attack helicopter fell into a field near a highway six minutes after takeoff. It was unclear what caused the crash.
