In memory of Thanos Axarlian…
A passer-by looks at wreaths placed at the junction of Karagiorgi Servias and Voulis streets in central Athens yesterday in memory of Thanos Axarlian, a 22-year-old student who was killed by November 17 terrorists at this spot 14 years ago. Axarlian was hit by shrapnel during a missile attack on then-Finance Minister Ioannis Palaiokrassas.
