President Karolos Papoulias is shown signing the visitors’ book at the house of the estates in the German town of Duesseldorf yesterday. Papoulias, who also visited Bonn yesterday and is due to visit Brandenburg and North Rhine Westphalia during his five-day trip, is the first Greek head of state to conduct such a broad official tour of Germany. In his youth, Papoulias studied and worked in Germany.
