Rare tomes…

Rare tomes are pictured yesterday on bookshelves in Athens’s National Archaeological Museum, whose library is to undergo broad renovation. The project, to be completed by year-end, is being funded by the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, which has donated 200,000 euros to the museum. The library holds some 20,000 volumes, including rare editions dating to the 17th century.
