Mt Pendeli…
A youngster digs a hole to plant a tree on Mt Pendeli, northern Athens, yesterday as part of a volunteer initiative to help the reforestation process in the area hit by summer fires. Around 2,000 pine saplings were planted by some 600 volunteers in an event backed by the US and British embassies. EasyGroup Chairman Stelios Haji-Ioannou was among those taking part in the replanting.
