Strong gusts blew corrugated steel roofing off an apartment block in Larissa yesterday, narrowly avoiding passers-by and a local bus. The high winds forced most of the passenger ferry departures from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina to be canceled yesterday. Meanwhile, it snowed in some parts of northern and northwestern Greece.
