More disruption for commuters on ISAP

Commuters who rely on the Piraeus-Kifissia urban electric railway (ISAP) will have to consider other options, as a new round of engineering work is to cause disruptions. Works planned for this weekend will shut down six stations from tomorrow through Monday. The affected stations are Moschato and Kallithea, in southern Athens, as well as Neratziotissa, Maroussi, KAT and Kifissia in the northern suburbs. Two bus routes – the X5 and X6 – will be in operation. The X5 will serve the ISAP stations between Irini and Kifissia, while the X6 will run between Tavros and Neo Faliro. Commuters living or working in Moschato will have additional problems, as the ISAP station there is to close on Tuesday for a revamp and is not scheduled to reopen until April 1. Another bus route, the X13, is due to operate while the Moschato station is closed.
