Growing joblessness…
Unemployed workers from the Perama dockyards, west of Athens, march through the city center yesterday, calling on the government to take measures to tackle growing joblessness in their sector. The protesters were also demanding better prospects for dozens of unemployed colleagues and an overhaul of facilities at the Perama dockyards to draw more business and create greater job opportunities.
