Heavy snowfall halted traffic in Pendeli and Parnitha, while strong winds disrupted ferry services from Piraeus and Aegina. A state of emergency was called yesterday on Samos as waves driven by gale-force winds pounded the eastern Aegean island’s main coastal road. Temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days.
