Greece’s Xenophon Koutsioubas (l) grapples with Russian Yuri Patrikiev during their fight yesterday for the bronze medal in the 47th Senior Graeco-Roman Wrestling World Championship in Moscow. Koutsioubas lost. So far, Greece has not won a single medal at the championship. An Armenian church choir, musical groups from the Greek and Jewish communities, and a children’s choir from Turkey’s mainly Kurdish southeastern region, accompanied her on stage.
