European response

Europe is already unreasonably late in drawing a common line of defense against the energy crisis. 

If immediate action is not taken, its member states risk becoming embroiled in a competition with one another in the energy market, without the framework of common rules or a strategy. 

The precedent of the European response to the coronavirus pandemic should serve as a guide to the EU’s response to the looming energy crisis.
