Using blackmail
Turkey blackmailed NATO at a very difficult time for the Alliance. It remains to be seen what exactly it has achieved.
This development certainly also concerns Greek interests as the government is rightly demanding guarantees about whether and how Ankara will use the aircraft it will procure from the United States.
Greece has avoided blackmail and has demonstrated its responsible attitude. It is logical that it expects similar behavior from its main partners.
